Registered Nurse & Board-Certified Nurse COach; Founder of restore with rylan

Hi, I’m Rylan

Since 2022, I have worked as a bedside nurse in the ER and Medical-Surgical units. During that time, I’ve witnessed both the resilience of the human body and the heartbreaking reality of our healthcare system. Too often, the system is designed to temporarily manage symptoms rather than truly supporting healing and long-term wellness. As a nurse, the desire to genuinely serve people has always been at my core, but over time, I began to feel a disconnect. I didn't just want to meet people at their breaking point. I wanted to help them build sustainable health long before they ever reached it. That desire is what led me to become a Board-Certified Nurse Coach.

My passion for this work didn't just come from my professional experience, but from my own story, too. Like so many women, I spent years caught in the exhausting cycle of wellness culture. Yo-yo dieting. Trying to change my body to fit a certain standard. Basing my workouts solely around the desire to be smaller, instead of focusing on being strong and energized. Wellness had become a full-time job, and it was defeating the entire point. I was so focused on not losing progress that I didn't even want to go out to dinner or go on vacation… I wasn't truly living. I was just managing.

Everything shifted when I stopped trying to shrink my body and started learning to nourish it. When I discovered intuitive eating, something clicked. I learned how to listen to my body instead of constantly fighting it. I began moving in ways I genuinely enjoyed. I gave myself grace instead of rigid rules, and everything changed. Today, my approach to wellness centers around gentle nutrition, joyful movement, and building a lifestyle that honors both your health and your life. Because what's the point of being healthy if you're too exhausted, restricted, or overwhelmed to actually enjoy it?

As a nurse, I've seen firsthand what happens when we neglect our health. As a woman, I know how exhausting the pursuit of wellness can feel when it's built on guilt and pressure. That’s why I do this work. I became a holistic health and wellness coach to help women build a foundation that feels supportive, sustainable, and empowering rather than restrictive or punishing. You deserve to feel amazing in your body and fully present in your life. When you're ready to stop surviving wellness and start enjoying it, I'm here🤍
